Report from our correspondent (reporter Zhang Yingying）：In the morning of Sep 17, 2009, Qinhuangdao Sport Fishing Association was formal founded. The fishermen in our city have their own "family" now.
Fishing is the sports which can edify sentiment and cultivate good temper. In the recent years, sport fishing is more and more favored by citizens. According to incomplete statistics, there are more than 10,000 fishing lovers among the citizens, the foundation of Qinhuangdao Sport Fishing Association make many anglers have their own organization.
At present, the first batch of the association have 40 group members, over 500 individual members, some of them are amateurs, the others are professionals, both of whom have mutual enthusiasm for fishing long before joining the association. In the future, the association will guide a wide range of clubs to carry out fishing activities, so as to make this sport move in the direction towards daily life, socialization and industrialization.
According to Chen Qingen, who is a member of the standing committee, the chief of a security bureau requested, and will be carrying out the work of sport fishing, we should closely combine fishing with city's tourism project, so that the fishing become one of seasonal-break tour.

Form Sep 5 ,2009 to Sep 12, 2009, the organizing committee of Guangzhou International Fishing Fair ( Fish Guangzhou 2010) have got the reply of fishing association from Qingyuan, Nantong, Yancheng, Lianyungang, Qindao city, they will co-operate with the visitors organization and has strongly supported this upcoming fair.

The Qinhuangdao Fishing Association received the supporter invitation from Fish Guangzhou 2010 on Sept 17, 2009. They eventually decided to support the Guangzhou International Fishing Fair which will be held from March 30 to April 1, 2010 at the Asia's biggest exhibition hall--China Import & Export Fair Pazhou Complex.
Taiwan Sport Fishing Association is dedicated in providing a communicative platform to anglers and manufacturers, after receiving the supporter invitation from Fish Guangzhou 2010, Mr. Chen, general secretary of Taiwan Sport Fishing supports this upcoming fair a lot, by informing all the fishing manufacturer members to exhibit at the fair and inviting all the fishing lovers to visit. He wishes us to promote the development of the fishing industry and host a successful fair in China.

In order to create a communicative platform between Dongguan Anglers and Fish Guangzhou 2010, the Dongguan Fishing Net (dgfishing.com) has been linked to the website of Guangzhou International Fishing Fair, which gave great support to Fish Guangzhou 2010 and also helped to achieve the mutual promotion and development.

In the afternoon of Sept 24, 2009, Mr. Hanxue, the president of Heilongjiang Fishing Association have accepted the invitation of Fish Guangzhou, he agreed to be one of co-organizer of Guangzhou International Fishing Fair 2010, and welcome all the fishing tackle enterprises participating Fish Guangzhou actively which will be held on March 30-April 1, 2010 at Pazhou Complex.

With largest manufacture and export volume, China has been responsible of the 80% fishing tackle in the world. Over the past ten-odd years, with the process of the integration of world economy and the remarkable character of the large-scale migration of the global processing industry, there are more and more fishing tackle wholesalers and retailers purchasing in China. The huge market with big potential and wide prospect has attracted many international brands enter into China, such as Daiwa, Pure Fishing, Berkly, Gamakatsu, Shimano, Abu Garcia, Dongmei, Red Wolf and so on. Meanwhile, some manufacturers from China whom mainly export before are playing more attention to domestic market, such as Falai,Guangwei, Laogui, Tica, Bihai, Hemingway, Ocean Fishing etc.
Therefore, given the actual conditions of the fishing tackle industry in China and the new characteristics and trends of the international fishing tackle market, the 2010 China Guangzhou International Fishing Fair (Fish Guangzhou2010) will cooperate with domestic and abroad industry organizations, planning to display over a thousand of fishing products within more than ten series including fishing pole, fishing reel, fishing line, fishing bait, net, fake bait, pole bags, accessories, fishing clothing, tents etc to provide a good trading environment for fishing traders all over the world.
