Largemouth are hitting topwater in Kentucky Lake very earkly. Lake Barkley has given up some good fish on plastic worms but not big numbers. Crappie are scattered but moving towards fall patterns. Minnows are working best at 15' to 17' along the drops in both lakes. Smallmpouth are hitting along the deeper banks in Kentucky Lake. Catfish are slow in the lakes but fair below the dams on cut bait.
