Tyler and I had a great time. The Tyler curse of not doing well with him in the boat stayed away from us for the most part.
We stuck to the plan I had come up with and mostly fished grass edges and the first outside 30 or so feet of the grass. We hit five different places and caught fish in all five. emoThumbsup I think we boated somewhere around 20 to 25 bass but only seven keepers came in the boat for sixth place in the standings. emoRolleyes WE had our chance to get a check, I lost one that appeared to be 4/5 lbs that fell to a frog but she buried me in the grass and came off trying to pull her up and to the boat. I had another on a spook that looked to be a good 2.5 lber that would have put us over into the money but again it buried and came off. emoRolleyes Still not a bad day, we just lacked a little size. We were in the race and had a good time. Out of the seven keepers one was on a frog, one on a t-rigged worm, two on a blade and three on the spook. emoBig
Lots of fun and looking forward to next year's CFF curcuit. Tyler was a great partner and net man. emoToast We had 10.14 I think, with our best five.

Thanks for all the hard work and the tournaments to the committee. emoThanks Also congrats to the winners. Those were some great looking smallies that DD22 and Tndoe came in with. Funny thing about it was I told Tyler that I felt those two would win it and have a couple big smallies when we were waiting to blast off. emoGeezer Called that one.

Thanks again to all. Had a great time. emoGrouphug Jmax
