Beautiful Morning after the fog settled, flow was what you expect with spill gates open, water temp was 63 degrees. Started out at 7:30am drifting across from Riverpark with live bait and made several runs before we finally caught some small blues, 3lbs to 5lbs for a cooler full. About noon we switched over to spinnerbaits and the spots and smallmouths started hitting pretty good and managed around 30 spots and 6 smallmouths with no size to them but great action. Finished up the evening with hot action down near the island and bridges and caught several keeper bass and spots on spinnerbaits and seko worms. Son hooked into a mystery fish close to dusk and fought it for a good 30 minutes on light tackle and finally broke off after several reel screaming runs. Enjoyed the sunshine and the fine company this fall break.
