Took a friend of mine from here in Cartersville to the riverpark. Started just below the dam and it started rather slow for us. Started cathing fish on SOB spinnerbaits (White w/white blades) and Strike King series 3 (Pearl White). We fished until 5:30 Pm and caught between 40 and 50 fish most were small but did have a limit that may have weighed 12 to 13 lbs. Biggest fish was a large head that went almost 4 lbs.
TVA must be trying to supply power the the whole Southeast. Strong current all day.

Only bad part of the day was when we were fish the point just above the ramp that the Chatt. Duck boat uses when all of the sudden about 10 large boats hauling butt stoped right beside us while we were cathing fish cast after cast and that ended that. They must have had a race or something these were the large cigar boats all the way to a cat that had a very large V-8 with blower, about a hour later they hauled but back down the lake with no respect for other boaters. emoBadLanguage

Overall we had a blast and am looking forward to the next trip back to the Riverpark.
