Kentucky Lake & Lake Barkley
#1
The warmer weather have brough more and more crappie fishermen. Windy conditions the past few day have made fishing difficult. Crappie numbers are still low but nice size is being reported. Largemouth are slow with very little activity. Smallmouth are improving on Kentucky Lake on jig/pork combinations and small crankbaits. Sauger are spotty in the tailwaters below both the big dams. The discharge from the lakes has been high but is expected to be back to normal in a couple days. This will really help sauger fishing. Bluegill and catfish are slow.

www.kentuckylakebarkley.com
