got on the water about 1:00 this afternoon out of HB,chased schools of shad around throwing a baby spook, blue in color,caught about 5 fish really no size 1-1.5lb seen 4 other boats doing the same thing,changed plans and hit a couple sloughs managed to boat 3 keeper fish off the wood,using a bomber crank chrome and black ,biggest one was about 3lb,plan seemed to fade,went over by CF area,found a slough were they were really bunched up,caught several more,had 1 more keeper out of about 10 fish on a bone colored spook, i hadn't been on the water in about 2 weeks,man its down about 5-6 feet,left about 6:30 just as the sun was popping out,go figure!{ i tried several other baits,traps ,shakey,c-rig and depths with no luck??}
