Triton-LB, Carters Lake, Spotted Bass, 11/04/09, Cast4Bass and son Jack
#1
Had the pleasure of fishing a full day trip w/ Bill Robinson aka Cast4Bass and his son Jack...... We fished from about 930-5pm. It was a serious grind the first half of the day, Jack got us started w/ a nice 3.30lb Spotted Bass he caught 25ft deep and then boated a few more out of the same area. I really worked hard for 3 or 4 hours after that. All the fish I've been on were either not home or invisible I'm not sure which. Our hard work and patience finally paid off as we finally ran across what we'd been looking for boating between 35-40 keepers for the day. We even tripled 3 or 4 times today LOL. The spots were extremely aggressive and pulled like spots do LOL.

Jack put a whoopin on Bill and I today and wasn't shy about letting us hear about it. That kid never stops fishing (or eating).... I wouldn't be suprised if he's a guide some day. Bill and Jack were great people and fisherman and even though fishing could've been better it will be one of my more memorable trips. Bill reminded me a lot of my tournament partner. Here are some pictures from our trip today. Most fish were caught 25-40ft on dropshot/Roboworm in shad patterns. (Walleye caught 11/03)

Thanks again Bill for the trip and fellowship. Hope we do it again soon.

LB
