Basshopper, chic, bass/ not worth reading, 11/4 & 11/05

Not too much going on for me Wednesday & Thursday. The bite was almost non existent. I found schooling bass but they would not hit anything that i threw at them. Wednesday I fished Wolftever & Chester Frost, then scouted out some new places that I haven't been to before only managing to catch one 2lb spot on a fluke that was in a slough off the main river channel down toward the Chic Dam. <br /><br />Thursday I stayed mostly in Wolftever but venturing out to Lorette area. I did something I never have done before and that was to catch a nice bass on the first cast of the day. I caught her (3lb LargeMouth) in a tree top on spinnerbait. I thought this is going to be a great day, but no, that was the only fish I caught. Oh well, the water is down and it has really changed the habits of the bite for me. <br /><br /><br />I've read that the Rattle baits are producing good but I threw it a lot the last two days amongst bass and they would not take it. I plan to go back out Sunday for an all day trip.<br /><br />It wasn't a wasted two days as I realized to do something different on the next trip, and I did find out out something new about the boat that I have been overlooking and that is I haven't been trimming the motor up as far as it will go. Also I did enjoy being out on the water as the weather was wonderful.<br /><br />Thanks for reading, <br />Basshopper
