North Arm Jordanelle

I'd like to get my canoe on Jordanelle on the over on the north arm. My quesion is, how close can I get to the water from the east side. There's a road that cuts off the highway near those condos, how far down will those get me? OR, would I be better off parking at the marina and trying to make my way across in the canoe? I've got an elec trolling motor, if I stayed along thw shore, wouldn't I be OK?
