When i pass the lake i have been seeing lots of boats and people fishing from shore! Anyone have any success? Just curious want to go fishing ther but want to catch some walleyes before they drain it! Or some cats will be nice too!

I was reading the fishing reports on the DWR website and they said fishing was spotty for Walleyes. They have changed the reg.s 12 walleye 12 pike 16 cats and 8 trout. They are closing it to fishing on Aug.14th.

i talked to a buddy of mine and he has been fishing the river above yuba and has been geting some nice cat's in the 10 to 15 lbs range.. but nothing in the lake.. sorry..

where are the cats by the river by the state park ? and what and how did he catch them kitties?

no the cat's he was cathching was up by gunnison some where.. not in yuba lake..he was useing some of my minnows.. and fishing at night thats about the only time you can get the fish there on the river.. the biggest one he got the other night was caught at 2:45 am last monday night it was about 15lbs..
