Made it out on the water around 8:30 ran up from Soddy Creek and started on a flat in about 8 FOW throwing SB real slow. Drifted down to a point on the flat and I hooked a small LM. Nothing else after that so we started toward some deeper water. Heard a guy nearby dog cussing us on his phone when we were over 100 yds from hi until he motored up stream closer to us. Real classy, if he had asked s to move because he was fishing a tx we would have gladly, but we weren&#39;t even close when we caught the fish. then moved back down river and found a ton of shad scholed in the channel. They were so thick that the sonar was showing 10 fow when we were realy in 35&#39;. Started catching them on blade bait and lipless cranks in a chrome color. best 5 would have gone about 17 - 18 lbs. Jake had about a 4-5 lb striper slam his bait at the boat and rip drag. Had to come in to make it back for the Ole Miss game. Got halfway home and realised that i hadn&#39;t set my watch to the new time ad would have had another hour emoBang emoBang . Oh well, was a great morning. Got to meet Ashtrey who was fishing close to us. Hope you guys did well today!<br /><br />
