My grandfather and I put a few hours in Monday morning chasing some crappie. We got to the lake around 9:30 and fished til about 12:30. I had to be back to get ready to hit the woods for an evening deer hunt. We kept 18 keepers for the frying pan and released several short fish. We caught them on bluffs and blowdowns in fairly deep water out on the main channel. Bait of choice was BG shad and Slab Slay&#39;r in various colors.
