tyler ware, Chickamauga, None(skunked), 12-5-09
#1
Good thing I covered the boat last night because it was covered with snow this morning. LEfty bailed on me because of the snow, so I went alone. Water temp was 50F to 51F on the lake and a little less in WT. I fished for crappie to start out, but the wind was a killer. Moved to WT and fished for crappie and bass. Had only one hit, it came on a silver buddy. My trolling motor foot control switch went out, so that really affected my ability to control the boat and fish. I fished lay downs, channel drops and sleep rock banks in WT. Threw jerk bait, silver B, crappie jig. spinner bait, football jig, crank bait. The only thing that got a little cold was the fingers, but not too bad. Wore two pair of latex gloves(polo style) Saw about six other crazys out there. good times even though I got skunked. I'll try again in the morning, even colder.
