Called Rickthis morning and we decided to go and try the dead sea for some bass fishing. So off we went. We got in the water about 11:30 without incident. First cast wham I missed a good hit. Tossed right back in the same spot caught a 16" smallie. This is starting out pretty well. We moved to another location or 2 without much luck and decided to try for a few crappie in some new water. Ended up finding 1 lone keeper crappie but did have a couple more bites, so we may have found some new spots for later on. We did however catch a small spotted bass while crappie fishing. We then went back to bass fishing. We pulled up on one of Mickey's favorite points and caught a good Largemouth probably 4.5-5 pounds, good green fish for Tims. We moved to some wind blown points as the light was fading and had a ball with crankbaits and smallies, at one point we had a double on with brownies. Rick landed a couple of good smallies I caught a couple and we both lost a few as well. All in all a really nice day on the water
