Well, I finally got the Humminbird 1197 installed and hauled the new gal out to the water to test my water pump change and new fishfinder. Water pump is great. Humminbird is better! (but still needs a little transducer adjustment). I was smart enough to not even take a fishing rod with me today. I just rode up and down the river watching the screen. Really neat to go past a buoy and see the anchor cable stretch from it to the bottom!<br /><br />I did recordings of about 30 minutes before my 4 gb SD card filled up. I took the unit home and have set up a seperate 12v power supply in the family room, so I sat and watched my recordings. Too cool!!! It records ALL of the screens so you can watch the image scroll, switch views, zoom in, check the map, change colors or brightness, etc. while viewing previous recordings emoEek . I'm sure I'll post some interesting things once I figure out how.<br /><br />What a hoot! emoBig emoBig
