I was fishing for smallies with a grub in about 25 feet of water when something nailed my grub on a 1/8 ounce jighead. I fought it for about 2 minutes and what I thought was a giant smallie turned out to be an 8 1/2 lb hybrid. After that I ended up with a 6lb striper and a 4 pound hybrid. pretty tough fight on 8lb test on light spinning tackle.
