Fished the "G" below nickajack today hoping to find some sauger. TVA did not have the flood gates open again this week which made it nice. No sauger. We did wind up finding a huge mess of channel catfish though in the chase as we made our drifts. We decided to sit down on them for a while and managed to save the day as we stretched our line a little. I told "grandpa" that I would have been happy just being able to get out of the house and enjoy the day but finding a huge school of catfish added to the flavor. We will be having a nice fish fry after church tomorrow if anyone is intersted. Water temperature was 41 F and there was a light wind today. Total for the day was 52 (nice) channel, 1 big blue, and 3 nice stripe. emoTongue See pics below. That is a 110 qt cooler.
