Everyone thought they would bite today from the way the parking lot looked this morning. Dad and I arrived at 8 am and it was getting full! Water temp was 39, and water level was real low. Current was slow, about 10 K or 12K cfs. Later it picked up some. TVA showed about 25 k cfs. I caught a catfish on a Silver Buddy! And I think, I may have had two other bites! One on a jig and one on a jerk bait. Dad swears he didn't get a bite! I talked to or heard from a total of seven boats that said they had not caught a fish. Four boats were killing shiners! One boat had caught a cat fish, and one had caught a drum. I did catch up with one of our local guides there today and he said that he and his party had caught a drum each {3} and he also caught a small spot. All I can say it was a tough day, but nice to be out after two weeks! I never saw that 58 degree temp that was forecasted for today though?!
