We fished from around 11:00 till the storms about 4:00. We wanted to hunt some new crappie and bass fish some between. To confirm the crappie would actually bite, we went to a dock that has had crappie on it all winter. Bill had a bite first cast. We ended up catching several shorts and Bill caught a 14 in. blacknose. The fish seemed slugish and we did too, we missed several. They were 4 to 8 count on BG's and 1/32 jig. We tried bass fishing and had bites right away. Couldn't get them in the boat either. We mixed in some crappie hunting and bassin the rest of the afternoon. No more crappie and several bass bites later. Bill finally got 1 in the boat. We lost a few. Fish were 10 to 20 fow and water temp was 47 ish.
