Had a pretty good day today considering the water temps and all the rain. We were able to catch quite a few crappies. I have never done very well when the water was this cold on plastics so we tried slab daddy's and maribou jigs. caught fish all along the water column with the biggest fish being in open water under bobbers about 3 ft down. I wound up with 8 keepers and michael had 6 or 7 and probably twice as many non keepers so not a bad day by my standards. Probably missed alot more than we caught with the wind it was brutal. It was great to get out with an old college buddy for a day of fishing. Biggest fish was 13.5 inches and most fish were caught in 6-8 ft of water.
