Neither of us could work yesterday, with all the precip lately, so we went fishing. We met at the ramp at noon and fished till dark. We bassed a while and caught 1 short SM. While were waiting for the bass to start eating, Bill hauled me 20 miles up lake to his favorite crappie dock to get me a mess of fish. I lost a big one first cast. It did get better though and we caught maybe 15. We kept 6 that will make the wife and I two dinners. We had 3 14's, 2 13's and 1 12 incher. 3 black and 3 blacknose. BG on a 7 to 10 count w/ 1/32 head. We hunted bass the rest of the afternoon and found 2 more shorts and 1 that would measure. All on jigs. The only pattern was SLOW. Water temps low 40's.
