Well lets see, since Jonathan and I rembered how long it took us to launch last year we got an early start and arrived early enough to catch a nap before anyone else arrived. The day started off with us running down to the entrance to Goosepond and working on the creek channel on the main channel, no luck on any thing we threw so we run down to south saulty. First place we try nada just pull water and grass. After wasting a little time there we diceded to try something different. Ran on back to the rip-rap in along the road crossing south saulty. Pulled out an old standby crank bait and we finally put the first one in the boat' sure was fun watching JF2 trying to get a hold of the fish since we lost our net on the way down. Finally found another one around a dock and our last one off of a point, all of them on a crank bait in about 8 ft of water. We ended up putting everything we caught in the boat and we only had three strikes. Slow day.... As always enjoyed sharing the boat with Jonathan, Still laughing at him trying to get a hold of our fish. He would try to lip them then change his mind when he would see those trebles on the crankbait. Congrats to the winners and everyone who found fish today. Good to see old friends and meet new ones.

emoToast
