LAKE BUCHANAN: Water clear; 85 degrees; 1016.50':
Largemouth to are fair early in 6'-12' on 1/4 oz.
Rat-L-Traps(www.rat-l-trap.com), Texas Rigged 4"
watermelon pepper Brush Pig(www.cremelure.com) and
white/chart. Terminator spinnerbaits. With 85 degree surface water, fish will be active shallow only until full light hits the water at which time bass move to the shade of docks on the deepest feeder creeks. Wroking slow falling plastics such as a Whacky rigged watermelon/red Scoundrel worm or watermelon Snap Back smoke/red Pitchin' Tube (www.terminatorlures.com).
Stripers are fair trolling Hyper Striper jigs(www.kgenterprise.com)and tightlining live bait in 28' of water along mainlake points near the dam early and late in the day. Some topwater activity at daylight with smaller fish.
White Bass are slow along creek points jigging 1/4 oz. Pirk
Minnows, 2" Lit'l Fishie Shads, chrome Tiny Traps early.
