Hit the lake around 7:30 this morning and started off with a 2.5lb spot and a dink LM, both in about 8ft of water. Moved to where I caught them in the CBA last week and they were still there. Caught a limit fairly quickly and it was slightly more than last weeks 11.63, probably only by a pound or so. Headed down to a prespawn highway area and nailed a 5lber right off the bat. All fish were caught in 6-8 feet of water with deep water near by. In total caught 8 bass, 2 yellow, and a drum. Best 5 bass would have gone right at about 15.5lbs. Had to leave at 11:30 for honey do list.
