[font "Comic Sans MS"][#008000]Don't have a Hummingbird - but this is how I set up my system. As I get out in deeper water I just lower the PVC containing the electrical wires.[/#008000][/font]

Ok here goes. First goto your local hardware store and buy some ABS or PVC that the fishin buddy will fit into. Then get some webbing strap and a quick release clip and strap it to the boat![cool] Walmart sells one in there camping section with strap and clip attached already for a couple of $$. Here is a pic of one on a FC4. I have used an older fishin buddy up until this year when I replaced it with a Humminbird 565. Attached it to my toon.[] I know that it can be difficult to find the right stuff to mount a FF, but with a little ingenuity and alot of PVC you can do anything.[] Also here are two pics of the toon. One with the 565 and one with the same setup as on the FC4 with the fishin buddy.
[inline mamatroutstrickedoutFC4.JPG] and the 565 [inline 565.JPG] And the pimped toon with the fishin buddy [inline pimpedtoon2.JPG] Hope this helps!!!![cool] [signature]

Nice strap but seems a little pricy. Here is one by Mountain cork for $15.

I just wish that mountain cork had an outlet store.[:/] I like their stuff. Made very well. [signature] |
