Pass Lake Trailhead...Lakes report
#1
Today, my partner and I did some fishing/hiking in the Pass Lake Trailhead area. I don't know how many people this info will aid, but here it is anyway. Use it if it's useful!
Arrived at Cuberant Lake at 7am, quite a few 8in cutts on Silver Jakes. Hiked over the ridge to Teal and caught just one REALLY FAT 10 inch Brookie. On to Cutthroat and five or six 8in brooks on no. 14 renegades, lots of risers there. No. 10 blue/grey scuds at Lofty Lake landed a couple small cutts but not a whole lot of action. Kamas Lake gave three 13 inch cutts in a half hour, all on about a 1 1/4" hopper, fished under the surface a foot or two! Wouldn't even look at anything but the hopper...crazy.

Around 6-7 miles. We did hike up and over the ridge from cuberant to teal which cut a lot of distance off the trip, but it was a hell of a hike with no trail.

Thanks for the good report. I like your style, going to a lot of different lakes in one day and even going cross country like that. I for one found your report to be very userful.
