craazyboutbass, Parksville, Spots, 3/17/10, Colby (revopro)
#1
We launched around 2 or 3 and fished for a good 3-4 hours.
Started off fishing the point across from the ramp. We threw everything that we had at whatever mightve been there with no luck. I had one bite on a worm but that was all. Decided to troll down the bank throwing worms just off the point, Colby left his float n fly dragging along the side of the boat for a while.
No luck with the worms but a small spot took Colbys fly just off the side of the boat.
After a while we moved down the lake to where we've been catching fish lately. It was muddy all over the main lake and some back in the creeks and sloughs. We didnt boat a fish there.
Headed to Indian creek just to see what would bite there. Colby lands another fish on the FnF.
But no more bites after another 30 minutes, I decided I would just fool around with a fluke. On my 10th cast or so I got a surprise. Actually got a bite LOL. It turned out being a 3-4lb bass that pulled loose. I couldnt tell wether it was a largemouth or a spot. But I never got another bite on the fluke.
Colby landed another 2 small spots on the fly in Indian creek.
We fished one more place before heading back to the house. Colby had one more bite on the FnF that never got hooked.
Thats about it, not a very interesting trip, did see the bald eagle at the Ramp while we were loading up.
Heres a couple pics, the fish werent really pic worthy but we were bored Wink
