In Florida for some R&R and some intense bass fishing. This 70 degree weather and 60 degree water is fantastic! We fished from shore at first because we couldn't rent a boat at that time. I caught our only fish off of the little peninsula. A watermelon red Gary Yamamoto senko. Fished really slow. We got a boat finally to rent. A 20 ft skeeter center console with a 115 4 stroke yamaha. It was a fantastic boat! We went out to a little spot with lilly pads and some stick grass. I flipped a black and blue brush hog. I got one more bite and didn't bring it home. The trolling motor stopped working because of something with the battery so we brought it back in. It was a great day! Tomorrow I will be bringing you guys a report from a guided trip on Okeechobee. Looking forward to it! The picture is the little one I caught on the peer. <br />
