<br /> We hit the water at 6:30 AM, started out really slow. We fished shiners in the mouth of a running lane with some success.We fished there till about 10:30. THen we headed into the running lanes and fished in the middle of them. We found a pattern throwing a topwater bait in the middle of the lanes. Caught one first cast. We went on and fished senkos sight fishing pretty much on bedding bass. I caught a pike on the topwater bait. Tore that bait up. But was surprised that there were pike in Florida. We went and saw some gators and kept fishing. Catching smaller fish. We pulled into a spot after a close call almost hitting a boat head on in a running lane. We casted out our topwaters and....BOOM! A FOUR POUNDER! <br /> <br /> It was a fantastic fishing day and a great time with some awesome folks! <br />
