Launched out of Wolftever and fished the first two sloughs on the right heading toward the main river channel. I picked up 3 LM (2- 2/12 lbs) on a slow rolled spinnerbait. David and John added with 3 fish each on traps, John picked up a 3.2 on an XR50. Fishing 9:30-11 was very slow. Pulled out and grabbed some BBQ at Fat Mikes, which was excellent. Launched at Skull Island at 1:30 and headed out for cats. Caught 6 cats biggest being 10 lbs or so and the other 5 were 6-8 lbs. Saw &quot;Sarge&#39;s Barge&quot; out there fishing as well. Drifting under control was extremely difficult with the wind, current, and discharge flows. Pulled out and headed up river to the first creek on the left... Soddy? Fished from 4:30-7 and picked up 6 more LM between 2-2 3/4 lbs, 2 crappie on traps, and a yellow bass. <br /><br />The traps did most of the work today, several colors, and fished 2-8 feet. Primary and secondary points seemed to be the most productive. All total 15 LM, 6 cats, 2 crappie, and 1 yellow bass.<br /><br />It was a long day but we had a lot of fun. Heading to the G tomorrow...Hopefully this cold night doesn&#39;t shut them down too bad.<br /><br />Brett
