Bill and I chatted back and forth last night and after midnight and decided to try it this morning for a few hours. I thought yesterday the fishing was poor but it was even worse today. The wind had turned 180 degrees and it was cold and damp. The wind was again howling! We fished from about 8 am to 11 and only had two bass and a stripe to show for it. The ones that we did catch were on the deeper areas that I fished yesterday. I think that the lake was down just a few inches from yesterday too which wouldn't help any either. We had fun cutting up though. The biggest of the two bass went 2.2lbs. The two bass were on consecutive casts with a rattle bait and the stripe came on a suspending jerk bait. It was fun to be out there again with Bill. If you get a chance to fish with him you should do it. Great guy! Sorry, no pic.
