<br /> Colby and I launched the boat at Kings Slough for the first time in 2010. The water is up just barely enough. <br /> We started fishing around 5 this afternoon. Had worms tied on and even tried to fish with the toad. Caught 12 fish in the first hour on worms, nothing on toads. Then the bite just quit. We fished another 2 full hours only boating 3 more bass. <br /> I think the bite quit on us only because the moon didnt come up until I just got back to the house. <br /> The fish are feeding on the bluebacks well. Most of our fish this past week have been spitting out some 2-3 inch shad and are fat. Water is rising pretty quick, should be full pool here in a couple weeks. emoThumbsup
