Was at Pelican Lake Sun. and Mon we did pretty well. I hooked the biggest blue gill I have ever seen. We got alot of bucket mouths also. It is very hot during the day and not alot of shade. At night the knats are vicious.

You can't put a very big boat out there right now it is pretty low. We used rafts and didn't have a problem. One person put in a boat but he had to walk it out a long ways before he could even use his trolling motor.I want to thank everyone for the information given about this lake we used what you said and had a good time.

Thank you for the report. Were they small bass or did you get any that had size to them. What kind of tackle did you throw at the gills and the bass.
