bloodworms on stripers
#1
anyone use bloodworms on stripers and any luck?
what's the #1 striper lure or bait or your top five striper lures for Lake Mead and Willow Beach?
What about large mouth bass - what's your favorite?

It will be interesting to see differences of opinion.

I went with a guide who used some corn chum that had been soaked all night in some kind of scent. then we dropped anchovies (cut bait) off the side of the boat and just hauled them up - one after the other.

Stripers love Bloods. We catch them on both artificial, and real bloods back home, but the real thing is always better. Also, you can bottom fish them by pumping a little air into them, so they float off of the bottom. this is a very effective way to catch striper in the lake. It works best once you have found the striper, however! [Image: bobwink.gif]

As far as lures, there are many great swim shads, I prefer the wildeye shads by Storm. And yes, chumming can only help....
