Is this a crappie?
#1
I was fishing today at a pond on a farm where my grandpaw and uncle work and I decided to go to a pond where I'd never caught anything out of and try my luck and I ended up catching this fish and I didn't know what it was because I've never caught anything that looks like it. So I did some research online and I think it's a crappie is that correct or no?

I have the same problem identifieing fish in my pond especially if they are small. I read small mouth have a rough patch of teeth on their tounge. Attached is a crappie I caught last summer. If its not someone let me know.
