Spent part of a day on Tims with my buddy Ed in search of bronze backs. We found some! It was a little slow and I was fishing a part of the lake that I was a little unfamiliar with but we had a good day. We didn't have the size but wound up with 7 SM (1 just over 3lbs) and 3 Largemouth for the day. Would have had 11 had I not horse the biggest cow of the day. A SM that jumped several times and got off right at the boat. She would have probably gone 3.5 maybe pushed 4. All in all had 5 shorts and the rest were decent fish. Water temperature was 59 F when we started this morning and we managed to find some water just at 70. All our fish came off wood near rocky banks on the main lake on either a spinnerbait or crankbait. Attached a few pics for those that wish! Two of the three LM were almost as big as the biggest SM but the bronze backs look so much better on film. Wonderful day!

Tight lines! emoAngler
