Minnesota Planning Fish Improvement Projects
ST. PAUL, MN—Minnesota anglers will benefit from dozens of new projects that will be completed during the next 12 months by the state Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Fisheries Division.
The projects aim to improve habitat, refine management, shore up walleye production infrastructure and put more and larger fish in Minnesota waters.
Projects range from restoring lake sturgeon in the far northwest to reprinting trout stream maps for anglers in the southeast. Walleyes are also targeted for several projects.
