There we wuz at the crack of noon! Actually, it was 8:00 AM when the Fat one finally showed up for his annual spotted bass trip. He was just wore out from all the balls and strikes, hits and runs that he has participated in the past few days and he is scheduled to do his thang for the next 2 or 3 months. I just don't know what all you people who are waiting on rods are gonna do? emoScratch It appears that your new rods will be ready by Christmas. emoBig
<br /><br />But, back to the fishing report. Fat Albert caught his limit before too very long. I was catching spots quite regular while he was throwing whatever he was trying to fish with. I finally asked him if he wanted one of the lures that I was using and he said yes. About 1 minute after putting it on, he got his limit and a little bit after that broke that jig off and didn&#39;t get another one. emoBig <br /><br />He wouldn&#39;t take another one of the hot lures this morning. After I caught about 10 in a row, I told him that the longer he waited on this lure, the more that it was going to cost him. emoPoke emoBig But he insisted on using his tackle, so I let him. We ended up with 52 small spotted bass. I think one of the nicer fish was actually a meanmouth. It looked an awfully lot like one.<br /><br />Fat Albert actually gave a pretty good account of himself this morning. I think that he easily caught 10 of the 52. emoPoke He is getting better at this bass game. We had a great time talking about all you CFF folks and I promised that I wouldn&#39;t repeat a single thing that he told me. So, if I start telling any of you guys about something that FA said, you had better listen real close, cause I&#39;m not one to be repeating gossip. <br /><br />Hal was down there this morning trying his hand at this bass fishing. He did ok I believe. We chatted him up a little bit before resuming the fishing game. We left this morning around 10:50 and put the boat back on the trailer. I had to do a little scouting for crappie for a trip tomorrow with MrWiskers and his mom. I fished on that trip with my better half, Wanda. I will make a separate report on that trip.<br /><br />This morning we caught a lot of little spots. More little ones than nice ones. It didn&#39;t seem that they were running as much current today as yesterday and I haven&#39;t checked the flowrate yet. About 2 more weeks or so and the fishing should get better at the Riverpark. A couple of goggle eyes and a bluegill bothered us.<br /><br />Albert, I love you man. Get Madbomber out and about and let&#39;s do this again real soon. emoBig emoGeezer
