Still looking for size and still not finding much. I got on the water about 4:15 and headed for new water again. Fishing a deep bluff drop I picked up a keeper spot and a short spot. Not what I was looking for so I moved. Hit some lay downs and the water was very clear. Could not get any hits on plastic or blades so I switched to a spook just to try something different. Did not go far down the bank and had a bass explode on it. She should have been around four lbs but she was spawned out and spent. Mostly head with a skinny body. Went another fifty yards or so and a nice 3 lber exploded again on the spook. She was fat and chunky, did not appear she was spawned out yet. emoThumbsup Hit several more places like that but did not have any other hits. Moved to some docks and started flipping. Had a couple short on a worm and another keeper spot on a spook off docks. Had a hard hit on a worm and it just got heavy. Rared back and the line broke when I set the hook. emoMad New line is going on that one. emoRolleyes Moved again and bumped into fishinjunkie. He was on a little bass bite so I moved again. Hit a back water slough and managed a couple more but small bucks. Finally as the sun was starting to set I hit a main lake flat and found a couple more all on a 10 inch monster worm. Two slicks and three more nice keepers. One about three that was another spawned out female that was skinny, a fat none spawned out female still with eggs and a long buck bass.

Not really finding the size I need but I am finding bass. emoScratch Five keeper LM and two keeper spots, best five would have been around 12 lbs. Still trying to find some better ones for the CBA this weekend. Water temp was 71 to 73 in the areas I was in. Caught fish from three feet to 13 feet of water. Left a little after eight.

C-ya out there. emoAngler Jmax
