Fished from first light till 4pm. We caught 4-5 and lost several more on a spook in the first couple hours. We tried buzzbaits, spinerbiats and swimbaits with no luck. The fish were right at the water's edge on tapering banks close to spawing flats. We switched to jerkbaits the rest of the day and caught 15 or so more with only 5-6 keepers in the bunch. We fished the jerkbaits in 5-10' over stumps and chunk rock. Most all the fish were post spawn and not very healthy, a little thin around the gills. We did find a couple on beds but they weren't cooperative. <br />Ate lunch at Steve's Landing and enjoyed the nice weather. I didn't see as many fisherman on the lake as normal. I guess everyone knew how slow the fishing was going to be sunday.
