Alvin and I hit Raccoon Mtn today after work and headed to the gorge. We boated 3 LM, 22 spots, 4 channel cats, 5 google eyes and a drum. Right before Alvin caught his drum I had something nail my pig n jig and I never turned it. Had to be a huge drum. All our fish but 3-4 came on they black/blue pig n jig. Fish were slow but steady all evening and still not much size. I did lose a 2-2.5 lb spot but that was it for size. The 3 LM were all about 14" and very chunky. The only water flow we had tonight was when I took a leak, I think the river actually ran backward. Fish were all within 5 feet of the bank and water temp was 67. Nice, if not cool, evening to be on the water.
