Freida put me on fish again this morning. After working nights the last couple I woke up at about 6:50 and was wide awake. Was on the water by 7:03 and quit at 8:23 as my honey do list is long. Decided to see if the WT topwater bite was on and was very happy to see that it was. I had a good fish on my third cast and 4 nice keepers total. The biggest was around 3lbs with the other 3 2-2.5lbs. Same as yesterday with Jmax, lots of blowups and not many hookups. The last fish of the day hit around 8 am and was one of those "hold your breath" type strikes. You could see her coming from about 8 feet away with a wake streaking right at my chug bug. The wake go to the bait but no blowup until a couple more "chugs". I was surprised that I didn't freak out and either stop my retrieve or jerk the bait away. Lots of fun on a short trip this morning. No pics as the buttons on my camera wouldn't work this morning. And only approx. weights as I need two new batteries for my scale. It's always something to frustrate me on a beautiful morning Smile. I'm not going to let it bother me though!
