Well today was one of those days when I should have stayed home. I launched above the dam at about 3:30 and ran up just about Harrison Bay fishing a couple of spots along the way. Since the wind was unbelievable I decided to try to get into some small coves out of the wind, but had no success. After a couple of hours of the brutal wind I decided to head home and get some dinner.

On the way home I was driving through some of the roughest water that I have had the displeasure of boating in when I looked back and realized that the transom was split. Quite nervous that the situation could get a lot worse, I slowed to nearly idle speed and eased her home for the last mile and a half or so.

I now have a 110 Johnson which runs like a top mounted to a 17.5' Ebbtide hull that is in desperate need of repair. One of those days!
But at least I made it home safely and did not lose the motor or sink the boat right.
