Polo was kind enough to take Norman and I out to the Riverpark in search of the elusive red breast sunfish cause both of us have a boat problem of one sort or another. Thank you for being so kind to us old generics or is it gereactrics? emoBig

TVA pulled a sneaky on us and increased the water flow to 47,400 cfs by the time we quit fishing. Lots of muddy water down there and more trash floating on the water than I can remember in a long while. Looks like they were spilling 6 floodgates. Fishing was slow, but we did catch a variety of fish. Target fish was the redbreast sunfish. We landed somewhere in the neighborhood of 10-15 sunnies. About 15-20 goggle eyes, about 10-15 spotted bass, 2 smallmouth bass, 2 white bass and 1 stinky channel cat. I had my line broken by a fish of some sort. We never did see the fish in the stained up water. We had a good time, some good laughs and Polo finally did get to catch some red breast sunnies after I gave him the lure to use. emoPoke emoBig
You know that he only fishes with a crystal shad panfish assassin and that didn't work today. emoUp

I had a good time and Freida pointed out some good fish for us. Let's do this again when the conditions are better. Clear water, and no trash.
emoGeezer
