I just returned fron a couple of days at Oxbow, Res.- First the weather was great for the most part 68 degrees on Friday. Only a little rain shower on Thursday. Now for the fishing. The Water temp was 51-53 so still a little cold. and the water was very clear. Bass fishing was tough with only success at 25' deep and not much of that. The crappie were better with crappie being caught in 15-25 feet of water, the bite was very light, only a slight line movement was a fish. I seen a guy with a 5 gal. bucket full caught by the Oxbow dam. We only kept enough to eat. the fish were smaller than at CJ in the 8-9" range. The best part was getting out of the wind. [
