There we wuz all decked out in our best going to fishing clothes and ready to do battle with the piscatorial animals, but didn't know that we were on a sinking ship. We put Fat Albert in the middle of the boat and put him in charge of the bilge pump which had to be turned on every 3 minutes to keep us afloat. (yes, the plug was in.) You could tell that we were on the level by the "bubble" in the middle. We may have struck an iceberg with all the stuff floating down the river. emoPoke emoBig
<br /><br />Madbomber was late as usual. I got to the Riverpark first and caught 3 fish while waiting on our ride. FA drove up and watch me land a couple of fish but swears that he didn&#39;t see &quot;nutting&quot;. So, I didn&#39;t get to count these fish on our total. FA jumped out to a big lead on the both of us before Madbomber started front ending him. I just ran the camera and fished twice used water all morning. I haven&#39;t been this embarassed since the last time that.....well, let&#39;s don&#39;t go there. emoBig <br /><br />Using MadBomber rules, we totaled 81 fish. I don&#39;t know how many more that were hooked up, but never saw. Madbomber does have some standards, you know. emoBig FA caught 3 bluegills right off the bat, and we had a couple of bluecats and 1 goggle eye and all the rest were spots, except for one single largemouth that looked awfully lonesome. He was in the wrong neighborhood.<br /><br />MB used a crankbait that didn&#39;t have any hooks on it. Nearly every fish that he had on jumped off, hence his very high totals and winner by default. FA stayed with a 2&quot; curly tail bass assassin all morning and would have won the battle hands down if not for bilge pump duties. Thanks for keeping us afloat today, Al. emoThumbsup I dragged up the rear with a pitifully low total, but I did have to man the camera, watch for logs, and wistfully wished that I was just a little closer to the bank. emoPoke emoBig A guy is just handicapped when his own boat is in the shop. emoBang emoBig emoGeezer
