WHAT: Maurice Freeze of Concord, N.C., caught a 5-bass limit weighing 19 pounds, 11 ounces Saturday, May 15, 2010 to win $6,679 in the FLW BFL North Carolina Division tournament on High Rock Lake. Freeze was flipping a sweet beaver on a jig around docks to bag his limit.

After the fifth North Carolina Division tournament is complete, the top 40 boaters and co-anglers based on point standings will qualify for the Regional Championship at the Potomac River in Woodbridge, Va.,on Oct. 7-9, for a chance to win a 198VX Ranger boat with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Yamaha outboard and a Chevy pick-up, co-anglers will fish for a new Ranger 198VX.
