The death of Newton

took the porta bote to newton last night--what a trajedy! 5 1/2 feet deep at the deepest point out in the middle. But even 30 ft out from the rocks we were only 2 1/2 feet. Had fun catching crappie on nearly every cast-olive damsel nymph on a fly rod. When that got old we tried to find some bass but no luck.
