Fishing was great this weekend in the Gulf! I went with DLancas to help break-in his 23ft Key West offshore with Sean and his son. We had all the waypoints loaded from previous trips. I caught my biggest kingfish ever along with snapper, grouper, amberjack, and Spanish mackerel. Conditions were calm at 1-2ft seas. Water temp was about 80. With winds out of the South, we did smell what we thought was crude oil every time we headed offshore,but it was mild and shortlived. Hope to go back in a few weeks! <br /><br />Also, I noticed I had a few PMs when I logged on - I apologize for not replying. It has been awhile since I logged-on and my old CFF email address that notifies me of PMs is no longer functional.
